While you're staying home with your loved ones, what streaming shows are you enjoying? We are looking for something new to start and I would love some suggestions (just pop 'em in the comment box below). Unpopular opinion: we have not watched Tiger King and we probably won't. #sorrynotsorry So other than the show that has taken our nation by storm, what are you all enjoying? As I was scrolling through Netflix this evening, looking for something to try, I saw Bob Ross' happy face scroll by and it gave me an idea for my next installment of my blog series: Indoor Date Night Ideas, otherwise entitled: "What do you do when you run out of Netflix shows to watch?" Should we watch Bob Ross the Joy of Painting? Maybe. OR we could try out an art night for two. Maybe learn something new. Maybe impress each other with a hidden talent. Maybe just giggle our way through a TERRIBLE recreation of happy little trees. If any of those ideas sound fun to you, read on to plan your perfect date night and I'll tell you which one we are choosing at the end of the post!
Why not learn calligraphy? In your spare time you can make some signs for your wedding or start a new side hustle! :) Start with a guide, a fancy pen set, and some pretty colored pens to make things interesting!
How about creating something for your home together? Paint mosiac tiles (circle or heart or something else fun like a flower) and place them in your garden or house to remember this time you spent staying safe and supporting each other.
Of course, I couldn't end the list without mentioning the man himself, Bob Ross. They have a basic Bob Ross paint set to get you started (or impress your boo and splurge on the master set)! or try a Bob Ross paint by number kit that is garanteed to make you smile or just eat your dinner off some Bob Ross plates, because why not? And if you're in a particulalry silly mood, add a Bob Ross bobble head to your order and be delighted because HE SPEAKS!!
Which art night are you going to try? They all make me smile but honestly, I would probably go for the coloring books or calligraphy set while my husband would probably go full on Bob Ross complete with the talking bobble head becuase it would amuse him. lol! Let me know if you try one and be sure to tag me on IG, I would love to see pictures of your date night!
