Meet Julia Jane

“watch with glittering eyes... those who don't believe in magic will never find it”

Hi I'm Julia (my middle name is Jane) and I am so glad that you are here!

I'm a visual storyteller who preserves love stories for a living. How great is that? My job, in addition to preserving your memories, is to make your wedding day experience easy and fun. I work with you from day one to ensure that your photography goals are accomplished, that you have a great time with your friends and family, and that your memories will be cherished as beautiful images for generations to come. I absolutely adore telling the heartfelt visual stories of my joyful couples.

At this point in my life, I can't imagine doing anything else, but that wasn't always the case. In fact, I didn't know that I loved wedding photography until I was searching for a wedding photographer myself. At that point, I fell hard and fast. My husband gave me a DSLR for our first married Christmas and a few months later, I left my marketing cubicle to chase those dreams. Over a decade later, I am so glad that I did, and especially grateful that he believed in me.

I live in Fairfield County, Connecticut, with my husband, pound puppy, and amazing daughter. I'm an on again/off again runner, a recovering coffee addict, and a lover of snuggly blankets, books with pages, and warm mugs of herbal tea.

I would love to chat about your wedding and learn more about your photography dreams. Head on over to the contact page and we'll arrange a time to meet over a glass of champagne (or tea if you prefer)!
