It was a gorgeous week. We had three days of rain but in-between the rainy days, the sun was shining and the daffs were blooming. Our mornings were spent on the computer working (Lucy playing beside me) and our afternoons spent outside when possible. The spring weather means that wedding season will soon arrive and my weekends will be spent driving all over New England to celebrate with my amazing couples. For now, I am still working from The Shore to be a little closer to Lucy's doctors in Philadelphia. I travel to Connecticut for meetings and engagement sessions and in the meantime, have a fully functioning mobile office at my parents' house. Just this week, I booked two amazing weddings from the guest bedroom as Lucy played with Gramby in the living room. I will forever be grateful to the twists of fate that led me to my career as a wedding photographer. There is no other job on earth I would rather have, no other clients I would rather celebrate with, and no better way to spend my weekends all summer long.
Day 110: A gorgeous day at the Shore.
Day 111: It's violet season!
Day 112: A break in the rain meant an afternoon break in the front yard.
Day 112: I love, love, love the white on white cover Tara & Matthew chose for their 12x12 matted Queensberry album. I didn't want to send it out to them, it's such a gorgeous heirloom!
Day 113: I spy a surfer. And a rainbow.
Day 114: Four dear childhood friends sent a gift for Lucy. This book is AMAZING! After flipping through it, I think it should be a required reading for everyone!
Day 115: Pretty, pretty blossoms on our afternoon walk!
See you next week!
