When I first decided to get a blog and not just have a static website, I was over the moon. I was going to blog and blog and blog. What I didn't realize, was how many times I would sit at the computer staring at a blinking cursor. How many times, I would need to answer emails instead of sharing a funny anecdote. How many times, I would have to edit and blogging would be put on hold.
This year, I am going to do something about it. I am committing to becoming a visual story teller of my own life. I am committing to a 365 project. Every Sunday, I will post a picture (or two) from each of the past 7 days here on the blog and on facebook.
Will you come along for the ride?
Day 1: The sailboat tree at my parents' house is warm and golden and full of possiblity and adventure. The perfect tree to share January 1st with before heading back to CT.
Day 2: The window next to Lucy's favorite rocking chair. The one we sit next to at least four or five times a day. I love the morning light that pours into her room as the sun peeks through the trees and my eyes are still sleepy.
Day 3: Our "first child", Andy. Mike insists he is building an addition onto his bed, I think he's just trying to trip us. ;)
Day 4: The snowpocolypse! A perfect day for tea and adventure.
Day 5: Lucy is currently obsessed with our washer/dryer. She loves turning the dials and hearing the noise it makes.
Day 6: Our "first child" is still a bit unsure about Lucy. Lucy loves Andy and giggles and points at him all the time. Andy usually runs away, but not today. He patiently let her pet him (for a few seconds) before he took off.
See you next Sunday!
